The emergency First Aid at Work course is designed for most businesses that have had a risk assessment result that requires a fully trained First Aider in their workplace. The certificate is valid for 3 years and to renew the certificate you would need to attend this course again after the 3 years. The class size is a maximum of 12 participants, the duration of the course is 6 hours/1 day. Once completed, you will receive a wall and wallet sized certificate, weekly video refreshers and a reminder of when the certificate is due to be renewed.

First Aid at Work Course Level 3 (VTQ)
The First Aid at Work course is designed for most businesses that have had a risk assessment result that requires a fully trained First Aider in their workplace. This course covers more subjects than the EFAW Emergency First Aid at Work course and is suitable for those that work in more high risk job roles or just wish to learn more First Aid knowledge. The duration of the FAW course is 18hrs and can be covered over 3 days. The certificate is valid for 3 years and to renew you need to attend a 12 hour/2 days FAW requalification course, which SALT First Aid can also provide. The class size is a maximum of 12 participants. Once completed, you will receive a wall and wallet sized certificate, weekly video refreshers and a reminder of when the certificate is due to be renewed.

This course would suit Childminders, Teachers, Nursery Workers, Au pairs, Nannies or even parents who wish to learn Paediatric First Aid. In order to renew the certificate, they can take this 2-day requalification course rather than the full 3 day First Aid at Work course. A copy of the original certificate will be required. The duration of the course is 12 hours/2 days and the certificate will be valid for another 3 years. The class size is a maximum of 12 participants. The course training is in line with the UK Resus Council Guidelines in basic life support and medical emergencies as required by the General Dental Council. The duration of the course is 4 hours/half day and the certificate is nationally recognised and expires in 1 year and to renew you will need to re-attend the course after expiry.
